Reporting on my trip to Norway on Fred Olsen's Borealis as Art tutor 1st -15th February 2025

First Stop Alesund this photo was taken from a mountain hike up to mount  Aksla.

Two days at sea followed with art classes based on the area Torghatten the mountain with a hole in it and crossing the arctic circle

Tromso gave us an insight in to the beautiful traditional dress and stunning sculptural arts.

The Igloo hotel at Sorrisniva  was wonderous with sculptures of Greek Mythology and a blue vodka drink in an ice vessel.

Whilst docked at Sortland I joined a tour of Vesteralen and had an  interesting over view of life in the area with salmon farming. I cant wait to portray the building I have photographed here.

The visit to Bergen was fab which started with a guided historical walk through the town then a ride in the funicular railway for a Forest walk and bonfire on mount Floyen.
