Small classes allow for plenty of individual tuition whether you are a complete beginner, intermediate or an expert wanting a change of direction.

I encourage you to try different media from pencil drawing, water colours, pastels, acrylics, water colour pencils, charcoal drawing and much more.

Learn my unique style, step by step to achieve an original painting! Good for beginners and intermediate.

Plenty of individual guidance in these small groups.

stretched Bockingford paper.

Water colour paints,

Plate or palette to mix your colours

26th January Architectural details .

lots of lovely mini pictures based on stone carvings, timber, stained glass. Transform these simple observational pieces into standalone paintings.

23rd February Musical Instruments .

Draw and paint a musical instrument in action, how to paint the hands playing the instrument.

You will receive these grids to help with your initial drawing.

23rd March. How to draw and paint eyes

Practice a variety of eyes human, dogs, cats, hares etc

27th April. Waves, Waterfalls and Pools.

How to paint water in various states, still and reflective to wild and raging

18th May. Spring Countryside.

Working in ink, wax and watercolour painting white blossom, cow parsley and silver birch in the landscape.

29th June. Flowers Anything From the Garden.

Mix gorgeous colours to paint big, glorious blooms.

27th July. Feathers

Learn to paint their beauty and texture in ink wax and watercolour.

24th Aug. Seedheads and grasses for a meadow scene.

A big favourite of mine and art societies.

28th September. Birds in flight

Their simplified shapes and silhouettes to show their body language. Light coloured birds against dark backgrounds and dark coloured birds against bright skies.
