Dates for 2024. Images coming soon.

28th January. Thailand Temples.

Getting the effects of gold decoration and drawing in lovely playful style of mark making with all the curvy details on the buildings.

25th February. Artic Beasts and Northern Lights

Choose the artic fox, hare or polar bear and learn to paint paint white fur. These will look so dramatic against the dark sky and the magical colours of the Northern lights.

You will receive these grids to help with your initial drawing.

24th March. South America Jungle greens.

Expand your knowledge of mixing greens and fabulous shaped foliage, adding a colourful splash of colour with the odd exotic bird hiding in the thicket.

For total beginners you can do the version of just the hut shown here.

28th April.  South Africa Savannah.

Paint massive beautiful skies and golden plains occupied with animals of the Savannah.

26th May.  Malta and its Grand Harbour.

Depict the stunning silhouetted outline of the Grade Harbour Malta with a lively foreground of the shipping lanes and sea.

30th June.   Canals around Europe.

A range of colourful buildings lining the canal characteristic of Copenhagen, Amsterdam and many other European cities. The scene may look complex but we will be simplifying it with my techniques.

28th July.  China and its style of painting.

Learn these stylised brush strokes to paint this  traditional image of Wisteria.

18th Aug.    New York streets.

Another complicated looking painting that is achieved with the simple drawing skills I will be showing you. A strong structure that will support all the loose washes that bring the rainy atmosphere to these busy streets.

22nd September.  Greek Islands.

The main colours of white building with shadows and very blue skies and sea will give you that feel good holiday vibe.

20th October.  Canada’s Fall.

Every autumn we love the seasonal change with its rich variety of warm reds browns and yellows and this year we are focusing on the Canadian fall and its dominance of maple trees.

24th November.   India Diwali Decorations.

Don’t you just love the vibrant and sparkly colours of these celebrations. You’ll be using pure bright pigments for this project.

15th December.   Australia Sydney Opera House.

Once more we will be working with blue skies and sea to bring you cheer in our dark December days. I have always loved this sculptural opera house and look forward to working on it with you.
