brilliant Results and lots of Fun

Brownsover art society invited me to run a half day workshop for their members.

This was in my style of using water colour wax and ink.

We started with a warm up exercise in the technique.

Drew a grass hopper from a photograph and kept this to simple lines as the technique adds lots of texture and detail.

The ink outlines were were activated with a wet brush and the flow of the dilute ink held the composition together.

Once dry a dark neutral water colour was added for depth and definition.

A lot to learn in three hours very well done!
