Do you find colour theory confusing?
I shall be taking you step by step with these practical exercises so you will understand the effect colours have on each other.
· I shall be explaining complimentary colours during the practice exercises.
· I shall be explaining harmonious use of colour when you paint your own colour wheel.
Using the colours you have mixed for the exercises you will be creating an image of an Oil seed rape field in flower with a purple sky and we will be diluting the colours towards the horizon to show distance.
This distance will be shown when you paint a poppy field in the red and green.
Tools and materials needed are:-
No 12 round water colour brush
No 3 round water colour brush
Water colour paint in these colours:-
Lemon yellow, Ultramarine blue, Quinacridone red or Magenta, black
2b pencil
Eraser
This can be done in acrylics.

Acrylic paper
